Main crash POINTS are:
  • Air India plane from Jeddah with 286 passengers  landed under emergency conditions at the airport in Mumbai due to hydraulic failure.
  • All the passengers on the Jeddah-Mumbai flight were safe, an airline spokesperson
  • suspected hydraulic failure at around 13.45 hrs. All the passengers deplaned safely,” the spokesperson told PTI.
  • Airbus 330 aircraft landed safely at 1.38 p.m. The alert was withdrawn at 2.13 p.m.


     
  • The incident comes a day after an Air India plane with 123 passengers and crew landed under emergency conditions at the Thiruvananthapuram airport after a minor defect was detected in its hydraulic system.
