The great TIGER ,Indian cricketer Former Captain: Mansur Ali Khan Pataudi passed away on SEPT 2011 after a LONG severe lung infection.
Pataudi played in 46 Test matches for India between 1961 and 1975.
He is the Father of Saif Ali Khan
The President of India Said:
"I am deeply grieved to learn about the sad demise of Mansur Ali Khan Pataudi, eminent cricketer and sportsperson.
Also
Pataudi's contributions to the game of cricket throughout his life as a player, captain, coach and analyst need no elaboration," Ansari said in his condolence message.
Sonia Gandhi also said that the Pataudi's death in sports and public arena will be difficult to fill.
