Manmohan Singh: 2nd South Africa Summit in Addis Ababa

In Addis Ababa:

Africa and India sign a trade and co-operation deals after two-day summit also to provide $5-billion credit line for Africa.


South africa and India Sign some big deal in the area of infrastructure.

Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and around 10 African leaders opened Tuesday 24 may 2011, It is the second India-Africa summit.

Some facts:
  • $5 Billion credit line for the next three years.
  • $400 million to build institutions and training programmes in different African regions. 
  • 10,000 scholarships for African student.
  • Set up a virtual university
  • Ethiopia Train Line Set Up.  
  • $300 million for an Ethiopia-Djibouti railway line
  • $700 is the total estimate.
